The Z1 Server application allows you to broadcast your sim's data to any computer on your network.
The Z1 Dashboard can then read the broadcasted data, so you can now run the Z1 Dashboard on any computer on your network. (Or in theory
anywhere on the internet if you have public IP address you can use.) The Z1 Server will also broadcast the joystick button inputs allowing
you to control the dashboard switching and other options from the main computer. You run the Z1 Server application on the same computer
as the sim, and then run the Z1 Dashboard on another computer on the network.
The IP address and port being used by the Z1 Server application are displayed on the main window of the Z1 Server application. These can be
set, along with various other options, in the settings dialog of the Z1 Server application available by clicking on the settings icon in the
upper right of the screen. You will need to make sure the IP address and port used by the Z1 Dashboard match these values. These are set in
the Network tab of the settings dialog in the Z1 Dashboard application. You will also need to make sure you don't have a firewall or anything
else blocking the selected port.
The Z1 Server is included with the Z1 software suite and can be registered using the same order number as is used on your Z1 Dashboard. You can also
use driver names, or run it as a demo for 15 minutes at a time.
